Inphi Corporation

A designer of high-speed chips and optical components that move data across fiber-optic networks and data centers. Founded in November 2000 by three engineers as TCom Communications, it was renamed Inphi just months later as a nod to the Greek letter phi (φ), which engineers use for phase and signal processing. Inphi was acquired by Marvell Technology in 2021.
