Insu Acquisition Corp. II
A special purpose acquisition company, or "blank check" firm, formed in 2018 by the financial services firm Cohen & Company to hunt for a business to buy in the insurance world — its name "INSU" is simply shorthand for "insurance." It raised money on the stock market in 2020 and used it to merge with Metromile, a pay-per-mile auto insurer whose customers plug a small device called the Metromile Pulse into their car's diagnostic port to track how far they actually drive.
Class A Common Stock — Merged with Metromile Inc. (MILE) on Feb 9, 2021
