A money-transfer company that helps people in the United States send cash to family back home, mainly in Latin America and the Caribbean, through its wire-transfer service known as Intermex. It was founded in 1994 by John B. Rincon in Washington and Oregon, then moved its headquarters to Miami two years later, where his brothers soon joined the family business. Today it is one of the largest US-to-Latin America money movers, serving immigrant communities who rely on quick, dependable payouts to loved ones abroad.
