A medical technology company that makes tiny, drug-delivering implants for ear, nose, and throat doctors treating chronic sinusitis. Its signature PROPEL implants are placed in the sinuses after surgery, where they slowly release steroid medication and then dissolve on their own over several weeks. Founded in 2003 as Sinexus, the company renamed itself Intersect ENT in 2010 to reflect its mission of "intersecting" drugs with devices, and it was later folded into medical giant Medtronic.
