Invesco Exchange-Traded Fund Trust
A family of exchange-traded funds that bundle many stocks into a single buyable product, the best-known being Invesco QQQ, which tracks the Nasdaq-100 of the largest non-financial companies listed on the Nasdaq exchange. It grew out of a 1999 fund launched to mirror the tech-heavy Nasdaq-100; Invesco's PowerShares business took it over in 2007 and the brand became Invesco in 2018. Traders still call QQQ "Cubes," a nickname born from the sound of its ticker symbol.
