A Chinese online video streaming platform, sometimes called "China's Netflix," iQIYI delivers movies, TV dramas, and original shows to viewers across China on phones, computers, and smart TVs. Launched in 2010 as a project of search giant Baidu, it grew into one of the world's largest subscription video services. Its name pairs the letter "i" with the Chinese word qiyi, meaning "marvelous art," later restyled as aiqiyi, which sounds like "love qiyi."
