A Chinese online marketplace that helps people compare and apply for financial products like loans, credit cards and wealth-management offerings from banks and other lenders, running under the well-known brand Rong360. Founded in 2011, it built a search-and-comparison site that lets everyday consumers shop for the right loan or card instead of walking from bank to bank. Its English name "Jianpu" comes from a Chinese word meaning simple, a nod to its goal of making finance easy to understand, and it later listed its shares on the New York Stock Exchange.
