The Jones Group Inc

A fashion conglomerate that designed and sold clothing, footwear, and accessories for working women under brands including Jones New York, Nine West, Anne Klein, and Stuart Weitzman. It began in 1975, when Sidney Kimmel and accountant Gerard Rubin bought the Jones Apparel division from W.R. Grace & Co. and incorporated it as Jones Apparel Group. The company was later taken private in 2014, and its brands were split up and sold off.
