Jupiter Acquisition Corp
A "blank check" company, also called a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC), that raised money through an initial public offering in 2021 to find and merge with a private business and take it public. Founded in 2020 by private-equity investor James Hauslein and partners, it planned to target consumer and tech companies in North America and Europe. After a planned merger with Filament Health fell through in December 2023, the company redeemed its public shares and wound down—never having completed a deal.
