A clinical-stage precision oncology company that developed small-molecule kinase inhibitors to treat cancers driven by specific gene mutations. Founded in 2018 by Steve Kaldor and Eric Murphy after a meeting at the J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference, it was the first company incubated by the investment firm Foresite Capital. Its name blends "kin" from kinase, the enzymes its drugs target, and its lead investigational drugs included exarafenib and KIN-3248.
