A provider of eDiscovery and data recovery services, helping law firms, corporations, and government agencies manage data for litigation and compliance. Its Ontrack business recovers lost data from crashed drives. Founded in 2005 as LDiscovery, the company took its current name after acquiring Kroll Ontrack in 2016 — the 'K' and 'L' come from the two merged firms. Ontrack's roots go back to 1985, when its founders' Disk Manager software shipped with early hard drives.
