Kraneshares Trust
A New York asset manager that builds exchange-traded funds (ETFs) letting everyday investors buy into China's economy and fast-moving global themes like the internet, artificial intelligence, and carbon credits. Its best-known fund, KWEB, tracks big Chinese internet and technology companies. Founder Jonathan Krane, who had lived and worked in China, started the firm in 2013 after a Chinese investment bank, CICC, later took a majority stake.
