Kura Sushi Usa, Inc.
A conveyor-belt sushi chain running kaiten-zushi restaurants across the United States, where plates of sushi ride along a rotating belt for diners to grab. Kura Sushi was founded in Osaka, Japan in 1977 and brought its first revolving-sushi restaurant to America in 2001. The name comes from the Japanese word for "storehouse," and the chain is known for its plate-recycling game: every five empty plates earns diners a prize from a capsule-toy gachapon machine.
