L Brands Inc
An American retail empire built around two beloved mall brands, lingerie giant Victoria's Secret and fragrance-and-lotion chain Bath & Body Works. It traces its roots to 1963, when founder Leslie Wexner opened a single women's clothing store called The Limited in a Columbus, Ohio mall, later renaming the parent company Limited Brands and then L Brands. Wexner famously started with a loan from his aunt. In 2021 the company split in two, spinning off Victoria's Secret as its own company while the rest became Bath & Body Works.
