L3 Technologies Inc

A maker of defense electronics, avionics, night vision, and surveillance and imaging systems for military and government customers, L3 Technologies came together in 1997 when several defense businesses, including units spun off from Loral Corporation, were folded into a new company. Its name comes from the three founders — Frank Lanza, Robert LaPenta, and Lehman Brothers — whose names all start with L. In 2019 the company merged with Harris Corporation to become L3Harris Technologies.
