A video-shopping company that sells everything from home decor and fashion to beauty through its flagship channels QVC and HSN, reaching viewers on live TV and streaming apps across the globe. It began with QVC, launched in 1986 by Joseph Segel, who had earlier built The Franklin Mint, and later absorbed its longtime rival HSN. Fun fact: the name QVC simply stands for "Quality, Value, Convenience," the trio of promises at the heart of the whole shopping experience.
