The Lion Electric Company
A maker of all-electric school buses, transit buses, and medium- and heavy-duty trucks, headquartered in Saint-Jérôme, Quebec. Its battery-powered vehicles—including the LionA and LionC school buses and the Lion8 and Lion9 trucks—serve schools, transit agencies, and commercial fleets across Canada and the United States. Founded in 2008 by Marc Bédard, the company took its name from the lion emblem he associated with strength and the company's Quebec roots.
