A digital-health company that helped people manage chronic conditions, starting with diabetes. Livongo offered connected glucose monitors, coaching, and personalized insights to people living with diabetes, hypertension, and other ongoing health conditions. Founded in 2014 in Mountain View, California, the company's name blends "live" and "long," and it later merged with telemedicine provider Teladoc. It was co-founded by Glen Tullman, who previously ran the electronic health records company Allscripts.
