A worldwide distributor of pipe, valves, and fittings that keeps energy and industrial plants running, MRC Global traces back to McJunkin Supply Company, founded in a West Virginia garage in 1921 by Jerry McJunkin and Bernard Wehrle. In 2007 it merged with Red Man Pipe & Supply, whose Delaware Tribe chief founder chose the name out of pride in his Native American heritage, and the combined company rebranded as MRC Global in 2012.
