Mantech International Corp

A defense and government contractor based in Herndon, Virginia, ManTech helps U.S. federal agencies with cybersecurity, data and AI, and digital transformation for critical missions. Founded in 1968 by George Pedersen and Franc Wertheimer in New Jersey, the company got its name by blending "management" and "technology." It started with just a single U.S. Navy contract to build war-game models and about a dozen employees, growing into one of the country's largest government services firms.
