Marblegate Acquisition Corp.
A special purpose acquisition company (SPAC), or "blank check" company, formed to raise money on the stock market and then merge with an existing business to take it public. Spun out of Marblegate Asset Management, a firm specializing in distressed and special-situation investing, it listed on Nasdaq under the ticker GATE before completing its merger with the DePalma Companies in 2025 and becoming Marblegate Capital Corporation. Its name nods to its parent firm, which co-founder Andrew Milgram started during the 2008 financial crisis.
