Vaneck ETF Trust

A trust that issues exchange-traded funds (ETFs), investment products that trade on stock exchanges and let investors hold slices of specific market niches, from gold miners to semiconductors. The funds were launched in 2006 by VanEck, a firm founded in 1955 by John C. van Eck. A fun fact: VanEck created the first U.S. gold fund back in 1968, decades before it entered the ETF market, and the "Market Vectors" brand was renamed to VanEck in 2016.
