Matterport Inc

A spatial data company that turns real buildings and rooms into immersive 3D "digital twins" — photorealistic virtual tours used by real estate agents, architects, and property managers. Founded in 2011 in Silicon Valley, it went public in 2021 via a SPAC merger and trades on the Nasdaq. Its name is a portmanteau of "matter" and "transport," chosen because the founders wanted people to be able to virtually transport themselves into physical spaces.
