Mead Johnson Nutrition Co

A maker of infant formula and children's nutrition, best known for the Enfamil and Nutramigen brands that millions of parents feed to their babies. It grew from the family of Johnson & Johnson: co-founder Edward Mead Johnson left his brothers in the 1890s to start his own company in 1905, driven by his infant son's feeding difficulties. One of its first breakthroughs was Dextri-Maltose in 1911, a carbohydrate powder that helped shape modern infant feeding.
