Meadwestvaco Corp
A maker of paperboard and plastic packaging for food, drinks, beauty, personal-care and tobacco products, plus healthcare packaging like the Shellpak medication blister line. It formed in 2002 as a "merger of equals" uniting the Mead Corporation (founded 1846 in Dayton, Ohio) and Westvaco (born 1888 in Luke, Maryland), which is why its name smashes the two together. It also produced beloved school supplies under the Five Star, Trapper Keeper and AT-A-GLANCE brands before merging with RockTenn in 2015 to become WestRock.
No Schedule 13D or 13G filings recorded.
