Medley Capital Corporation
A business development company that lent money to privately held, mid-sized American firms, Medley Capital Corporation provided senior secured loans to help companies expand, refinance debt, or make acquisitions. Founded in 2011, it grew out of a firm started by Richard Medley, a former political adviser to George Soros, and was later led by twin brothers Brook and Seth Taube. In 2021 the company renamed itself PhenixFIN and moved its stock listing from the New York Stock Exchange to the Nasdaq.
