Mercato Partners Acquisition Corporation

A special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) — a "blank check" company created in 2021 by the Salt Lake City growth-equity firm Mercato Partners to find and merge with a private business. In 2023 it completed its merger with Nvni Group (Nuvini), a serial acquirer of software-as-a-service companies in Latin America, and the combined company began trading under the ticker NVNI. The name "Mercato" is the Italian word for "market," a nod to the firm's roots in commerce and trade.
