Mirati Therapeutics Inc

A biotech company that developed Krazati (adagrasib), a pill for certain non-small cell lung cancers driven by a genetic mutation called KRAS G12C. Mirati started in 1995 under the name MethylGene and later renamed itself after the Italian word for "targeted," a nod to its precision-oncology focus; it was acquired by Bristol Myers Squibb in 2024. One of the hardest proteins in medicine to drug, KRAS was long called "undruggable," and Mirati's medicine helped crack it open.
