Monster Worldwide Inc

A pioneer of online job hunting, Monster Worldwide ran Monster.com, one of the first and best-known employment websites, where job seekers post resumes and employers list openings. It began in 1994 when recruiter Jeff Taylor launched "The Monster Board" from his advertising agency's newspaper job listings, and the name stuck because Taylor wanted a brand that felt big and alive rather than a plain directory. The company was later folded into Dutch staffing giant Randstad in 2016.
