A grocery wholesaler and retailer that supplied independent supermarkets and U.S. military commissaries across the country, and ran its own stores under private-label brands like "Our Family." It began in 1885 when Fred Nash opened a candy and tobacco shop in Devils Lake, North Dakota, and the name later added Harry Finch, an employee hired to sort lemons who rose to lead the company. In 2013 it merged with Spartan Stores to form SpartanNash.
