A management consulting firm that helped organizations in healthcare, energy, and financial services steer through complex regulatory and legal challenges. It began in 1983 as the Metzler Group, a consultancy focused on energy and other regulated industries, before rebranding as Navigant Consulting in 1999. The name comes from the Latin word for "navigating" or "sailing"—a fitting nod to its guiding mission—and in 2019 the firm was folded into Guidehouse, retiring the Navigant name.
