Its GaNFast chips — built on gallium nitride instead of silicon — power fast chargers from Samsung, Dell, and Xiaomi, and are used in everything from data centers to electric vehicles. Founded in 2014 by engineers who once worked at International Rectifier, the company takes its name from the Latin word for "energy," and its GaNFast brand pairs "GaN" with "fast."
