New York Reit, Inc.

A real estate investment trust that owned office and retail properties across New York City, with nearly all of its holdings in Manhattan. Founded in 2009 as American Realty Capital New York Recovery REIT, it listed on the New York Stock Exchange in 2014 under the ticker NYRT. After shareholder pressure and a failed merger, it adopted a plan in 2016 to sell its portfolio and dissolve, converting to a limited liability company in 2018.
