A maker of electronic health records and practice-management software for medical and dental offices, helping clinicians document care, schedule patients, and handle billing. It began in 1973 when founder Sheldon Razin started a dental software company called Quality Systems in his home study; the firm later expanded into medical records and rebranded as NextGen Healthcare in 2018. In 2023 the company was taken private by the investment firm Thoma Bravo.
