Nifco Inc
A maker of precision plastic fasteners and injection-molded components, Nifco supplies the parts that hold cars together—from clips and rivets to the smooth-gliding dampers that make cup holders and glove boxes open with a satisfying, controlled motion. Founded in 1967 as the Nippon Industrial Fastener Corporation (the source of its name), the company was a joint venture with Illinois Tool Works that brought plastic fasteners to Japan as a lightweight, rust-free alternative to metal. Today it operates factories across Asia, North America, and Europe.
