Northstar Realty Europe Corp.

A real estate investment trust that owned and operated prime office buildings in Europe's three largest economies — Germany, the United Kingdom, and France — even though its shares traded on the New York Stock Exchange. It was born in 2015 as a spin-off from NorthStar Realty Finance Corp., created to hold that parent's European property business. A quirky twist: it was a U.S.-listed REIT that owned no U.S. assets, and in 2019 it was taken private by AXA Investment Managers.
