Alkuri Global Acquisition Corp
A special purpose acquisition company (SPAC), or "blank check" company, formed in 2020 to find a high-growth technology business to take public. It held its initial public offering in early 2021 and, that October, merged with Babylon Health, a digital healthcare firm whose shares then began trading on the New York Stock Exchange. Originally named Ark Global Acquisition Corp., it was renamed Alkuri in March 2021 — a word its CEO said means "to run toward," chosen to reflect the company's mission of moving startups quickly into public markets.
