Novacopper Inc (now Trilogy Metals Inc)
An Alaska metals exploration and development company working the Ambler Mining District, hunting copper, zinc, lead, gold, silver, and cobalt at deposits such as Arctic and Bornite. It began in 2012 as NovaCopper, spun off from gold miner NovaGold, and renamed itself Trilogy Metals in 2016 to reflect its mix of metals. The district's mining history dates to 1947, when prospector Rhinehart 'Rhiny' Berg found the outcrop that became the Bornite deposit.
