A holding company that owned the general-partner interest in NuStar Energy L.P., a major operator of pipelines and storage terminals moving crude oil, refined fuels, and specialty liquids like ammonia. The business began in 2001 as Shamrock Logistics, part of Ultramar Diamond Shamrock, and became NuStar Energy after a 2007 spin-off from Valero. In 2018 NuStar GP Holdings merged into NuStar Energy to simplify the corporate structure.
