Nuveen Short Duration Credit Opportunities Fund

A closed-end investment fund that pools money to buy short-duration credit securities, aiming to generate current income for its shareholders. It launched in 2013 under the ticker JSD and was managed by Nuveen, the investment firm founded in 1898 by John Nuveen, a German immigrant who arrived in America as a child. In 2023 the fund was merged into Nuveen's Floating Rate Income Fund, folding its shares into that larger fund.
