Omnilit Acquisition Corp.

A special purpose acquisition company, or SPAC — a "blank check" shell formed to find and merge with a business — Omnilit Acquisition Corp. targeted companies in the optics, photonics, and advanced manufacturing sectors. In November 2023 it merged with Syntec Optics, a Rochester, New York maker of custom precision lenses and photonics components used in night-vision gear, medical imaging, and consumer devices, and the combined company took the name Syntec Optics Holdings. The SPAC was led by Al Kapoor, who had founded Syntec Optics after buying a Rochester firm in the late 1990s.

Class A common stock — Merged with Syntec Optics in Nov 2023, became OPTX
