A maker of cloud software that lets large companies handle their finances in one place instead of juggling many separate programs. Its platform pulls together budgeting, planning, forecasting, and financial reporting for the teams that work for a company's chief financial officer. Founded in 2010 by three veterans of the finance-software world, the company got its name from its whole idea: turning a dozen scattered systems into one single "stream." Its founders had earlier built a similar tool that was bought by Oracle and folded into its Hyperion line.
