Orbital Atk Inc

An American aerospace and defense company that built rockets, spacecraft, and solid rocket motors. Its Antares rocket and Cygnus cargo spacecraft carried supplies to the International Space Station, and its boosters trace a lineage back to the Space Shuttle program. Formed in 2015 when Orbital Sciences Corporation merged with the aerospace and defense arm of Alliant Techsystems, it was absorbed by Northrop Grumman in 2018. Fun fact: the Antares rocket was originally called Taurus II before being renamed after a bright red star.
