Parsley Energy Inc
An independent oil and natural gas producer that drilled and developed unconventional reserves across the Permian Basin of West Texas and southeastern New Mexico. Founded in 2008 by Bryan Sheffield, the company took over roughly a hundred legacy wells his grandfather, oilman Joe Parsley, had drilled decades earlier — and the company's name honors that family legacy. In January 2021, Parsley was acquired by Pioneer Natural Resources and folded into that larger producer.
