Perspecta Inc.
A U.S. government IT services contractor, Perspecta helped federal agencies — especially in defense and intelligence — modernize their computer systems and operations. It was formed in 2018 when DXC Technology's U.S. public-sector business merged with Vencore and KeyPoint Government Solutions, and its roots trace back to Electronic Data Systems, the pioneering IT firm founded by H. Ross Perot in 1962. The name comes from the Latin "perspecta," meaning "perceived" or "discerned." Perspecta operated independently until it was acquired by Peraton in 2021.
