Piper Sandler Companies

An investment bank and securities firm that helps mid-size companies, governments, and nonprofits raise money, buy and sell businesses, and trade stocks and bonds, backed by research on around 840 companies. Its roots reach back to an 1895 Minneapolis commercial-paper brokerage serving the region's grain and milling trade. The "Piper" in its name honors H.C. Piper Sr., a Yale classmate of C.P. Jaffray whose 1913 firm later merged into today's company.
