Proshares Trust II
A Delaware trust that issues exchange-traded products giving investors leveraged, inverse, or direct exposure to commodities, currencies, and market volatility — including the UVXY fund that tracks VIX futures. Formed in 2011 as a sibling to the main ProShares trust, it's part of the ETF family launched in 2006 by Michael Sapir and Louis Mayberg, who had earlier built the ProFunds mutual fund group. The "Pro-" prefix carries over from that parent brand.
