Qiwi Plc
A Russian payment company behind the bright self-service payment kiosks and the QIWI digital wallet millions of people used to top up phones, pay bills, and send money. It was founded in 2007 by Sergey Solonin, Boris Kim, and Andrey Romanenko, growing out of the earlier e-port and OSMP terminal businesses. The name comes from the kiwi bird—the logo's "Q" is drawn with a tail shaped like a flightless kiwi's head.
