Raven Industries Inc

A maker of precision agriculture technology, Raven Industries builds GPS steering systems, sprayer controls, and autonomous driving software that help farmers run equipment more precisely. Founded in 1956 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, by four former General Mills aeronautical researchers, it began by building high-altitude research balloons for the U.S. Navy — and co-founder Ed Yost invented the modern hot air balloon, the first able to carry its own fuel. It now operates as a brand under CNH Industrial.
