A maker of cloud-based software and data analytics for the real estate industry, RealPage helps owners and managers run rental properties—from apartments and student housing to commercial and vacation rentals—handling leasing, marketing, and accounting. The company was formed in 1998 to acquire Rent Roll, Inc., a provider of on-premises property management systems, and in 2001 it launched OneSite, its first web-based property management platform. It is headquartered in Richardson, Texas, and was founded by Stephen T. Winn.
